Pension Predicament

At the close of my ministry at Sea Point Evangelical Congregational Church, Hildebrand Attorneys surveyed the situation. My pension was an important outstanding issue, and information on the matter was being refused. The first thing I should do in this situation, they said, was to see the man who was Church treasurer in 2002, who knew what the Church's intentions were. That was a critical and pivotal point, they said. This then is my conversation with the treasurer. Click on ▷ to play. I put the audio here without comment, except to note that 8+ years (one-hundred months) of pension, which are spoken of here, have not been paid. OBSERVATION: A transcript is posted off blog here: Transcript. The treasurer, I would add, was a good man. He was not in office at the time of this recording.

NOTE: Under South African law, recording such a conversation is legal. But is it legal to share it? This seems to be more subjective. If from the start there was "the risk that a conversation might be related (communicated) to someone else", then the speaker is assumed to accept that risk. Was there the risk that a treasurer might be quoted on a promise? My answer is yes. I am sure, too, that this was the right treasurer (which was questioned). In spite of my Church files having been seized (see Searched), I found records to confirm it.
