Recently I took this photo of the interior of St. James Catholic Church in Cape Town, to add to my gallery of Churches. The parish, on the eastern coast of Cape Town, was established in 1859, mainly to serve Filipino settlers
in nearby Kalk Bay. The present Church building was opened in 1901. Two
schools are attached to the parish, namely St. James in Kalk Bay, and Star of
the Sea in St. James. This may well be the most expansive shot of the interior on the Internet. You may click on the photo to enlarge to 150k.
