It's been a while since I featured a local Church on my blog. This is the interior of the Cape Peninsula Reformed Church (easy to remember as the CPR Church) on the edge of Cape Town's city centre. It is an English Dutch Reformed Church. It is "beautiful for situation" today, seeming to "make" Kloof Street, the street on which is stands. The Church was built in 1898 by Congregationalists, and was then called Trinity Congregational Church. Twenty-five people turned up for the first service, conducted by Rev. Alexander Pitt. Today the Church has a strong ministry to the "down and outs". The interior was very dark when I took this photo, but it gives an impression.
