I like to give glimpses into the Church in South Africa on my blog. I took this photo at a Pentecostal ordination service. One notices some of the usual characteristics of the Church in South Africa: the women, by and large, wear head coverings. There are many youngsters present. And one sees cushions, blankets -- even baggage. At such services, one is "in for the long haul" (several hours, if not a day). And the men are mostly at the front.
