This post is about ... dubious women. Ministering in the rough and tumble of the city, one would think that such women would give ministers a miss. However, I was several times propositioned -- once very aggressively. A few times besides, I wondered what women were really up to. Some such women knew who I was, some did not. My own stories are not extraordinary, but some of my colleagues have told me some "classics". Here is surely my most memorable encounter: One Sunday morning, on my way to Church, a temptress said to me: "Come up and have some fun with me." I said kindly: "Thanks but no thanks." She said: "You're not going to be in Church all day!"
