Wife E is currently studying Church Management as part of a BTh degree (she is now in her final year). What are the "essential elements", asks one question, in deciding how to organise your Church? I doubt that my answer will be in her textbook. The most important -- and essential -- elements are the spiritual. They must be built in to every aspect of Church life. Agendas must begin with the spiritual, meetings must be organised around the spiritual, appointments should prioritise the spiritual, fellowship should draw out the spiritual, and so on. This is not merely a matter of emphasis or priority. It is so important that it must be a matter of organisation.
