Brother-In-Law

This is one of my brothers-in-law -- studying a map of the Suurveld. He is an assessor with a major sawmill. He seems larger than life, yet one is surprised by his vulnerability. So he is both. OBSERVATION: He first introduced me to Xhosa humour: tell someone something absurd, with a poker face, then observe them. (He told me I had to catch the fatted sheep -- which did exist). To make matters worse, my then-to-be wife had the same sense of humour.
