I am a deputy editor of The Philosopher on-line, the oldest general philosophy journal in the world. Last week someone left the first comment on a paper from 1934, which is 83 years between publication and comment. Regrettably the author isn't around to answer it. OBSERVATION: He wouldn't have known anyway what the comment was about, with reference to UNESCO and so on. Could 83 years be a record delay for public comment ... ?
