This post is similar (but not the same) to one I posted a few years ago. What is it that makes for a strong Church? I think: 1. The exaltation of Christ. 2. The priesthood of believers. 3. Strong Biblical content. 4. Sound organisation. 5. Church discipline, and 6. Faith and patience to wait (and wait) for the results to kick in. OBSERVATION: I see Churches omitting just one of these, and then they lose the plot. I would add a few things to the above, but so much for one post. These things are at the top of my list, and did in fact form the basis of thriving congregations.
