In most (if not all) of my ministries -- including two major ministries of nearly thirty years -- the average age of congregations dropped markedly. For example, sixteen years into my city ministry, representation of the 0-35 age group was about five times stronger than when I first started there. OBSERVATION: The big question is, what brought this about? My reply might seem to "come out of left field", to use an American idiom. I put it down chiefly to the priesthood of believers (ministry by
members) -- which includes all ages. I took this photo of Youth in my city ministry.
