Long Association

This photo was taken at Sea Point (now Evangelical) Congregational Church, Cape Town. (I think) Harvest Festival 1970. OBSERVATION: I first saw the Church 49 years ago, passing through Cape Town on a mail-ship. My highlight in this Church was to experience, as minister, a new heyday of the Church from about 2000. I attended from 1969, became a member in 1976, was married there, ordained there, my father was laid to rest there, then my wife. I ministered there for more than 20 years, first as Assistant Minister, then as Minister. I still attend, quietly slipping in and out. I am second from the left here, my sister second from the right (click on the photo to enlarge).
