This unusual shot was taken ten years ago. Here's something interesting about what you see. With a professional sound meter, for fun, I
recorded the sound level inside Churches -- including "traditional" Churches of wood and
stone with a pipe organ, such as this. The sound level reached 96.3 decibels in this case, where I sit, which is about as loud as a heavy truck. This converts to (up to) 91.3 decibels for a Church member, which is about as loud as the inside
of a bus. OBSERVATION: For the minister, this is loud enough
to harm his or her hearing within the duration of a single service.
