
I spotted this in the city yesterday. I owned two of these -- the pickup variant of the same. This is what I once wrote about their advantages: "You feel the wind and get spattered with rain --
and smell the restaurants as you drive by. You hear the gears
churning, the piston pounding, and feel the bumps on the road. In
short, you feel alive! You can talk to passers-by without winding the window down. Young women in Porsches and Ferraris turn their heads to
look. You don’t need to slump down low into a seat -- you just slip in
and slip out. It’s easy to lift it out of the mud, and you can
crank-start it if the battery goes flat ... " (And so on!)
