I took this photo yesterday of the old West Coast road north of Cape Town, being eaten away by the Atlantic. On Google Maps one sees the road teetering on the brink at about -33.878827 18.488130. You may click on the photo to enlarge.
OBSERVATION: This was originally a "military access" road up the West Coast, which included Milnerton's wooden bridge. The bridge was constructed of mahogany in 1900, and still stands -- however it is no longer in use. See
