Thanking A US Industrialist

When I studied in the USA (I graduated in 2011), a US industrialist kindly paid for one-third of my studies. I hadn't asked. This was vital to me at the time, and I was really thankful. But when I tried to thank her, I found that she was surrounded by minions. One couldn't just say hello and thank you. She is no small-time industrialist. Her company's revenue in 2016, in rands, was R14092038055,32. About a billion dollars. This week I sent her a copy of my magnum opus in draft, and thanked her again, not remotely expecting to receive a reply. But her minions sent my message on. What a surprise. She got back to me last night, saying she looked forward to receiving my work.
