My present Domain Authority (DA) on the Internet came as a surprise to me: 49. A marketing graduate said her jaw dropped. A graph of startups' DAs gives some idea of what 49 is (above). It is ahead of the pack. Here are some of the factors I think influence my authority:
• I move between the two worlds once separated by apartheid.OBSERVATION: However, this is just one of the domains -- one in ten -- of which I am (an) administrator.
• I take great care with facts, and with the balance of facts.
• I often let others tell my story to back it up, with few words.
• I often consider what kinds of posts will be helpful to others.
• I state conclusions and opinions single-mindedly.
• I reveal a lot of what thriving ministry is really about.
• I stay fairly much under the radar of what would get me branded in places.
• I blog consistently -- if not every morning, then every day.
• Some photos and videos go a long way on a blog.
• There is variety in uniformity here: ministry, technology, philosophy, and so on.
