The focus of Scripture is the story of sin and redemption. Of course, this further implies non-redemption, or one could not speak of redemption. There are many possible ways of looking at the world. This is the Bible’s way of looking at it. The story begins with the Fall, and ends with the Last Judgement. Before and after this, of course, we find God's creation and God's new creation. OBSERVATION: In spite of this, it is striking how many Churches do not set their focus where the Bible sets its focus. Yet ultimately, I think this cannot waylay a determined seeker, but it can lull an awful lot of people to (spiritual) sleep.
