“Doubtful” Dominees

The photo shows a South African dominee (in fact, an actor posing as one). In the past, their uniform was a white tie, as one sees. A nursing sister in my congregation told me this story. A man was admitted to Intensive Care at St. George's Hospital in Port Elizabeth. Only his wife and his dominee were permitted to see him. A dominee visited. Then another. And another. And another ... They stopped it when it got to eleven dominees. The man's friends had been dressing up as dominees.
