A few weeks ago, I bought myself a new Nokia phone -- or so I thought. I found it on Sea Point Main Road, a plush suburb in Cape Town. It is almost certainly a fake. One sees it merely by looking at the letters "NOKIA". OBSERVATION: Apparently there was an over-demand for this phone, and some resourceful people stepped into the gap. If I am lucky, it is better than a real Nokia, though I doubt it. The screen has garish colours, and the keys are Arabic and English (the box shows English). My battery failed almost instantly, but now I have a real Nokia battery.
