Here's where to obtain real hand grenades, free. This is an old photo from 2013. Incidentally I handed these grenades over to a Sea Point police captain (I put them in a box, so as not to be dramatic). The grenades were found by the sea off St. James Road Sea Point -- very old grenades, more than a hundred years old -- made of thick, brittle metal with large grooves in them, ignited by a fuse. There are sure to be more there. OBSERVATION: I did wonder what would happen if one dropped them in a braai or barbecue.
