Wife E's seminary have just introduced peer review of assignments. I needed to do this several years ago, at a more progressive seminary. The various advantages of this are listed on the Internet. I see two advantages especially:
• Your work must be ready in good time, which I think has a lot to do with good marksOBSERVATION: However, this should be no substitute for faculty review, as I think it sometimes is. Fellow students do not have the insight or experience that a faculty member has, when assessing an assignment.
• And it prepares one for the day one will be teaching (or editing, mentoring, and so on) rather than studying. One begins then with some experience
