Church Political Surprise

Something unexpected happened in South African politics recently, which many may not yet have registered. The South African Council of Messianic Churches -- African Initiated Churches -- combined to offer an alternative in the coming national elections. Statistics are not easy to come by, but consider that just one of their many member Churches is the Zion Christian Church, which may account for one-tenth of voters. I shall take a reckless guess, and say that one-third of voters may fall under The South African Council of Messianic Churches. That could easily make them a new opposition. A friend of mine in the "underground" thinks that a two-thirds majority is not unthinkable. Their political manifesto is here: ATM Manifesto.
