Throughout my ministr(ies), I have had the situation where someone died -- whether old or young -- but there was nothing they had ever said to me or to anyone else, to indicate that they had made a commitment to Christ. I refer to people inside the Church, or inside a Church, not outside -- one would not expect it of those outside. The Bible says that if one declares that Jesus is Lord, one will be saved (Romans 10:9) -- which I think would be a sign that one is saved, rather than a condition for being saved. I don't see how one can not talk about one's commitment to Christ, once one has made it. It is simply too big not to talk about.
