Early in my ministry, a businessman who was attached to the Church -- in fact acted as a property consultant to the Church -- took the gamble of building a business complex in the affluent suburb of Sea Point. As I remember, it was a huge risk -- but it paid off. I remember him a few times standing on the pavement and gazing at his complex. How time flies. Today the business complex is gone, and something huge is being built in its place (pictured). He is now an old man, enjoying his retirement.
