It's another photo of our local water wheel. This is one of only two
water wheels in Cape Town, and is found in the Green Point Urban Park. It is
used to generate electricity to light up the park. This water wheel was
constructed several years ago. The other water wheel is at the Josephine
Mill in Newlands, which is used to grind flour. Built in the early 1800s,
that water wheel stopped turning in 1963, and was re-started in 1988.
