Many months ago now, one of the most successful Church plants in my old city "parish" closed. I would say that this was due to stagnation -- although it was a good work, and certainly bore fruit. I didn't enter into the debate at the time that it closed, but I felt that it could have survived and grown if ... it had partnered with local work, and had exercised the priesthood of believers. However, being an Anglican Church, these goods were not in its warehouse, so to speak. While they were not completely absent, they were only weakly present.
