In ministry, one finds many ministers with a "limp". One calls it "Jacob's Limp", which alludes of course to ... Jacob's limp, which was inflicted on him by an angel. Such limps may be physical, intellectual, emotional, or spiritual. In the world, they might seem like a disadvantage, where in ministry, they are used by God -- or, God uses a minister in spite of the limp. OBSERVATION: There are some famous examples in history: Isaac Watts' emotional frailty, Hudson Taylor's physical frailty, Mother Teresa's spiritual night, and so on. To put it another way, what matters is that God called you. In that case, He will make His call effective.
