Letter To Members

This month, in a letter to the members of my old city Church ("Kindly place this letter before the next Church Meeting"), city attorneys noted something which seemed to have slipped my attentions. It stood out for me once more, because it stood out for them. Concerning the Church, my attorneys wrote: "Its property [was] subjected to the right of first refusal on 19 July 2012 in favour of a businessman ... by the treasurer." This was not done by the executive Church Meeting, or by the Church Diaconate, who knew nothing of it. OBSERVATION: The reason that I come to be involved in this is that the businessman's secretary handed it to me. I hadn't asked.
