Slithering Vehicle

Three-wheelers are disastrous in wet weather -- both the diesel Mahindra I now own (pictured) and 2-stroke and 4-stoke Bajajes I owned previously. Yesterday I was negotiating one of Cape Town's steepest thoroughfares, and workmen had tipped soil onto it, which had turned into a thin layer of mud. I put my foot on the brakes, only to see a man swivel a STOP-GO sign in front of me. My vehicle slithered down the road in not too straight a line. The poem Jabberwocky entered my mind: "Twas brllig, and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe."
