Story Of My Son

By now, my son will be in Dubai, en route to Zurich. He and his wife emigrated yesterday, to Switzerland. Here is a photo of him as a baby, with his late mother. He was a well-adjusted child, full of interests -- and became a gregarious, exuberant, eccentric, astute adult, speaking a number of languages. He studied at the highly regarded University of Cape Town, then at Durham University. He married a lovely Russian girl, of similar kind, and is now close to completing corrections to his PhD.
