Recently I filed a complaint with the Human Rights Commission, against the Presbyterian Moderator, the Rev. Dr. Peter Langerman. Here is how it came about. It was demanded of me that I sign a document which set aside the rule of law for "events related to the church". The Human Rights Commission examined this, and judged that it contravened Section 205(3) of the Constitution of the Republic -- which guarantees the rule of law. Out of the blue then, Rev. Dr. Langerman wrote to me, insisting on the authority of that document, and refusing me all right of reply. Attorneys requested that he retract and apologise, but that did not happen. OBSERVATION: The Presbyterian Church itself seems to fail to understand how serious this is.
