A while back, I gave input on an article by an African journalist:
Let Christ, Not Tribe, Determine Who You Marry. It was published yesterday by The Gospel Coalition.
OBSERVATION: I have experience, of course, of marrying outside my tribe, so his thoughts were familiar territory for me. I thought it was good writing, even before I gave any input. In Europe, one or two generations ago, some still frowned on people who married someone from the next town -- or so an old man told me at the wedding of his son.
