Racism vs. Collaboration

The philosophy weekly Pi published an essay this morning by a Black writer I have been mentoring: Redefining Race. His ideas have substance -- as is the case with this essay. I am expecting that there will be some debate around this one, too -- as there was in shaping it, even before it was published. What is the opposite of racism? Non-racialism? Neighbourly love? Black empowerment? (and so on). He proposes that racism's opposite is collaboration. The author is a logistician and former student leader. OBSERVATION: Published (in South Africa) on the Day of Reconciliation.
