Erich von Däniken

One might remember Erich von Däniken's Chariots of the Gods. One of his books, The Stones of Kiribati, translated into many languages, came into being through my father, who shared some of the things he saw in Kiribati. Von Däniken travelled to Kiribati to see for himself. Take one example. There is a compass stone, on the tiny island of Arorae, which points to a group of islands more than 2 000 miles distant. Some say it points to hell. Von Däniken, not surprisingly, said only the gods could have set it up. OBSERVATION: I myself saw many of the stones described in his book.
