Distress Over History

I found myself in a bit of a dilemma this week. I put up an old history on the Internet, which included a description of clan warfare. It was the first recorded history of that time (the early 1900s), so an important document. But I didn't realise that close relatives of those who died in the battle were still living, or that they would care. I said, if the elders of the meeting house decide that they would like me to take the history down, I shall obey. The elders decided not to take it down.
