A King's Distress

News headlines all over the world reported this week that the king of the abaThembu had ... exceeded his kingly powers at the Great Place, in South Africa's Eastern Cape. He went on the rampage with an axe. Wife E is distantly related to the king, through the line of the amaKwayi. I think the direct link lies about ten generations back. Two of E's paternal great-grandparents were amaKwayi. Last year, we laid the last of the amaKwayi in her clan to rest, a grandfather. It was a massive funeral (elsewhere on this blog). Here is the story of the king's distress on Fox News.
