Invention 23: Luminous Button

I have been putting what I think are viable ideas on my blog, which I do not have the time to develop myself. My wife's employers make buttons, among other things. Astonishingly -- as best I can see -- luminous clothes buttons have not been invented. There could be various ways of doing this, but I would think it is now possible to design (for example) a self-powered luminous clothes button with miniature solar cell, super-capacitor, perhaps acrylic, and LEDs. One need not light up the whole surface -- perhaps, say, just a stripe or a spot. The efficiency of LEDs is now unbelievable (see my own Forever Flasher). OBSERVATION: Here is what has already been done with lapel pin badges. A luminous button may not be cheap, but it would be quite exclusive.
