Wobbulator

Just once in my electronic design "career" I used a wobbulator. There was great interest in that. I now have a new design on my desk which uses a wobbulator. In both the previous design and this design, the wobbulator breaks what I call frequency lock. Frequencies, when they get too close to each other, have a habit of snapping onto each other like magnets. My use of a wobbulator then and now is to unsettle frequencies that get too close. The effect is improved performance. In the old design, though, I used a wobbulator on one of two frequencies. In my new design, I use it on two of two frequencies. OBSERVATION: A wobbulator is a counter-intuitive thing. Usually one wants to eliminate wobbles from a circuit.
