DNA Diagnosis

For most of my life, I have suffered from Rheumatic Fever -- or so it was diagnosed, by some (not all) doctors. My sister then had a DNA test; now my son had a DNA test. It seems certain, through their results, that it is not in fact Rheumatic Fever, but Mediterranean Fever. Mediterranean Fever has a lot in common with Rheumatic Fever. This may have originated in an ancestor of the 18th Century. OBSERVATION: There is a cure for it, too -- if my doctor should believe this yarn!
