Critical Theory 2001

I may own the first ever paperback edition of a dictionary of critical theory (2001). That is 20 years old. Critical Theory has become more and more important as the years have gone by. Critical Theory "reveals and challenges power structures". It is "critical" because it is normative. It makes judgements -- about power structures. One professor writes that "criticism involves ... judgments for the purpose of bringing about positive change". OBSERVATION: A while ago, I drafted an article on Critical Theory -- a linguistic analysis of "Critical" and "Theory" -- but haven't completed it yet.
