It will hardly come as news that I have been seeking a publisher. About this, I have joked that, when one seeks interest in one's work, one should hope not to attract it. It can be very disorientating when it happens. It can knock weeks off one’s routine. OBSERVATION: It is interest in one’s work, whether weak or strong, which incrementally makes it a better manuscript. I read comments by a published author, who said that he adjusts his manuscript all the time: submits, adjusts, submits, adjusts, like Elon Musk launching, crashing, launching, crashing -- and then success comes.
