Evening Events

There came a time in South Africa where Churches' evening services and events vanished from the scene. In my own Church, a churchgoer was raped on the pavement / sidewalk, against the Church's cast iron fence. That marked the end, by and large, of evening events -- although we still held some as exceptions. Even so, a woman was then raped inside the cast iron fence, and there was an attempted murder in the Church garden (these were not churchgoers). OBSERVATION: There are some beautiful evening hymns, now no longer sung.
