Ministerial Trivium

This post is about a ministerial trivium -- which, however, may apply to millions of ministers worldwide. Ministers often wear spectacles with a greater focal length than the average population. Last week, an optician tested my eyes, and found that I needed about 1.5 x magnification for reading -- but it's 1.25 x for a minister because ministers, of course, need to focus on pulpits and lecterns. OBSERVATION: The same applies to people who, similarly, use some kind of podium.
