Precipitous Decline

I asked an ex Church member how it was going. He lives in the same suburb as me with his wife and children. He wrote to me yesterday, "It's getting rough. Robbers day and night." South Africa has gone into precipitous decline over the last several years. When I bought a plot in the country, it was safe. A few years later, they were stealing roof and windows and walls and furniture and trees and plants ... and the police dockets were being emptied of evidence. Where wife E and I visit in remote areas, everything which can possibly be stripped has been stripped. OBSERVATION: One forgets how orderly it was, and the hopes one held for the New South Africa.
