Bibles as Missions

To encourage the distribution of Bibles in our country, my city Church sold Bibles from the Church at a 50% discount -- subsidised from our Missions-Evangelism budget. Most weeks, we had ample stocks of English, Afrikaans, Xhosa, and French Bibles, which sold "like hot cakes". Other languages  were available on order. OBSERVATION: Some people wanted to buy in bulk, but that needed to be taken to the Church diaconate for decision. It all began when I discovered that a couple in the Church didn't have a Bible. This is a fortuitous photo which shows a new stock of Bibles that a deaconess was to pray over in Church.
