Following on from the previous post, what is the Church's greatest attractional force? I would name two very obvious things: delivery of the gospel "neat" -- which really speaks to people's needs, and purpose. Then, "ministry by members" -- all should be feeding all the rest, spiritually -- which is most manifest in Sunday services. To that one could add, government by members -- which is not the same as assent! OBSERVATION: What happened to "love" in my list? This is a by-product. It has been shown that, where one prioritises love in the Church, one increases conflict. I would guess that is because a perceived lack of love leads to criticism.
POSTSCRIPT: Assent implies that somebody (or some group of people) make a proposal, and the rest assent. In my own tradition, it is more like this: "the rest" make the proposal.
