I receive questions all the time, as to how philosophy should be compatible with religion -- Christian faith in particular. My answer is usually one from experience: philosophy has greatly solidified my own faith. I think that my forthcoming book should have this effect for many people. OBSERVATION: Until a few generations ago, philosophy was one of the "stock subjects" of Christian seminaries. That began to fall away a few decades ago I think. More recently, religion has again become relevant to philosophy, and vice versa, but in a different way.
