Pity the Fundamentalists

I was reminded today of an article that my late wife Mirjam wrote: Pity the Fundamentalists. I brushed it up after her death, and it was published in the philosophy weekly Pi in July 2017. The content of this article applies to all "who are willing to give up everything for God". She writes -- based on ten years of research -- "It is tragedy and ruin – until they find a realistic sense of themselves, and a realistic sense of the God they serve."
