Bringing Age Down

How to reduce the average age of a Church? A characteristic of all of my ministries was a significant drop in average age -- counting activity throughout the week, not just Sundays. The graph shows age groups under my ministry in 1994 and again in 2007 (the same city ministry). In 1994 there were few people under the age of 45. By 2007, it was half the Church. That trend continued in the years that followed. This is not to overlook the elderly, who are known to be important to Church growth. The shift came about, I believe, through the priesthood of believers, or ministry by members.
