Old West Coast Road

The small amount of sea level rise we have seen has had a far greater impact than was generally expected. I took this photo of the old West Coast Road in Cape Town recently. Strata on the left are in fact the surface of the road, eaten away by the sea. In the background on the right is Table Mountain. You may click on the photo to enlarge.
